Pricing and Production strategy for the new Ingenieur will not work for IWC
IWC is simply not that "brand" to the market. They are barely known and barely wanted in general. Nearly everyone of their watches, including Limited Edition, loses value in the secondary and can be had for discount. The Ingenieur is more known to to hardcore watch enthusiast than the general watch guy. In due time they will increase production of the Ingenieur because they have stakeholders and quotas to report to.

Tried the black today… it is really nicer than what i thought. I will try to the green blue which even seem nicer… i know well the guys at IWC on a personal basis here. Never bought an IWC before. I can tell you production seems very, very low… now i unde...
Haven’t any chance to see one myself
Visited the boutiques several times without any luck. Is it really worth the price they are asking ? I was told it would be allocated to their IWC customers first then to the general public like myself without any record. How sad
