With apologies, asking for a bit of honest advice. Smitten with this ceramic pilot’s chrono, but is its 44.5mm case simply too big for my wrist (maybe 6.75 inches). Thanks! ...

I don’t mind wearing huge pilot watches since traditionally they were meant to be big. The black ceramic case makes your 3789-01 looks smaller too ...

As such, the watch suits you pretty well, but you are probably used to wear smaller diameters. Diameters are really a matter of habits, I used to wear only 40/42+ mm watches (Seiko Monster, IWC Rattrapante), and then I suddenly got interested in vintage w...

And after all, it's a great looking watch. And I also agree that with pilot watches, the bigger the better. Size makes them fun to wear. I really like big watches, even as big as in my BIG PILOT at 46mm. It's big, of course, but makes a fantastic wrist st...  

Good! Like others said, black watches look smaller on the wrist.

Really appreciate all the comments. It’s a big one for me, but it didn’t feel that big—perhaps because of the light weight and case color—when on the wrist. Thank you for the helpful notes.

Hey Bob, Funny to see your post. I just went through the same dilemma between the ceramic chrono 44.5mm and the 41mm ceratanium. While the 41mm case is a little better for sizing it did not feel that much smaller. So I got the 44mm and it has been great. ...  

If it’s not too thick then that’s a keeper!
