Finally saw the new Ingenieur . . .

Nov 20, 2023,01:17 AM

The third time’s the charm. I’ve visited the boutique twice in the last few months with hopes of seeing these in the metal without success. Well, yesterday was the third visit and finally succeeded!

Of course, this piece was already taken but they were kind enough to let me see it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try it on the wrist:

I really like this black dial iteration. Initially, I was apprehensive with respect to the crown guards. But I’m please with the overall execution!

I was told that we are looking at a two-month wait for the black and white dial iterations:

I also was fortunate to see the aqua dial:

WARNING: These photos do not accurately depict the color. The dial comes across as more blue in my photos. But it’s actually has more of a green tone in the flesh:

These have a six-month wait according to the boutique:

Thanks for looking!🥂

Blue for me please

Hopefully, you will have an opportunity to see one when our local boutique finally opens, Jesse!

Like I said, my photos depict a blue color rather than the green you see in the flesh. It will probably be a case where it depends on the lighting.

Thanks for sharing🥂

I actually prefer the "old" model with actual lugs.

As hard as I try I just can not bring myself to take a liking to watches with integrated lugs.

None us should have to try to like a watch! If your heart doesn’t beat faster, then move on to a piece that grabs you!
