I have never understood why they are so popular. I doubt more 1% of people actually use it for what it is intended for. It looks good though.

Even 40 mm portugieser 3 hander still wear very large with that very slim dial and lots of negative space
I think portugieser is at its best at 36-38 mm. Of course , probably IWC does not have medium movement to put it inside. Maybe the entry level caliber 32xxxx
