Am I late to the game, have we already talked about this limited Big Pilot’s Watch Edition Black Carbon?

I think I quite like it, I have not had an IWC since the Port. 7 Day in red gold.

Don't know the qualities of carbon or how robust it is.

Never had a carbon watch, how easy,

Or hard does it scratch?

Interesting! I've never see polished Carbon...

Any examples you can share with us?

On car Carbon parts, they spray a glossy clearcoat to make them shiny

So, I'd like to see how they make shiny watch Carbon cases.

Like I said, they spray their CF with glossy clearcoat polyurethane...

Something I haven't seen on watch case.

Really cool. I love carbon! [nt]

Carbon: yes. Stealthy: no

It will be in the league of stealthy watches a big, big hit but I would have preferred the classic look in bright white. The above said coming from a man who likes also a Patek Blue Ellipse in yg … !

Hahaha, doubt I would ever handle this though, assume the.

100 will be accounted for soon.

I don’t recall seeing it posted here before.

It’s a cool piece, would need to see in person though.

Looks good.

But where is the regular ceramic/ceratanium top gun Big Pilot? It is still missing in the current line for some time. I was very close to buy the former model.

Good point, not sure why they are not doing

More ceramic pilots.

Because they made enough? 😁

I would like to see a Titanium BP with a black/gray dial and hands theme like the above.

LOLOL - You know? That is a very good point.

I like titanium, and the weight of it, or lack thereof. Seeing all these Bit Pilots really makes me consider whether I would get another Port. as my next I.W.C.

Yes! I was dying to buy the 501004

But when I went into the boutique in HK airport, I did not fall in love with it. I think it was the yellow/patina lume. The grey dial above with whiter lume would have been what I needed. ....otherwise I just have to wait for a 501007 at retail...not sure...

Exactly!

The IWC titanium finish has a brownish hue to it and doesn't look that great combined the beige/yellow markings on the dial. That's why I suggested that IWC should have a Ti model with a black/white dial.

As far as I know, they were not very successful models in the line up

2012: 2016: ...

Hmmmm, I see your point on trying something new.

That said, titanium would sound like a good metal to work with for the next BP iteration.
