Because it was difficult to get the comfortable fit with the bracelet. On top of that, I was worry because of the integrated rubber strap, which may be hard to buy new because it was discontinued model.

I don't know how long IWC will produce the rubber straps for their discontinued models. No matter how good the quality of the rubber, eventually it will break.

It was indeed a bright Summer companion, but like many IWC's I have owned, I could not get it to fit comfortably (on bracelet) and while I admired the dial and case, it was finally too bright blue/orange and lost its novelty for me... the ti 2526 (is it?)...
