I’m sure the strap should fit if both are 22mm, would you consider a blue rubber clad strap?
This watch can use a blue strap!
I wonder if the strap from the 45mm IW379507 will fit this 42mm aquatimer?! Both say 22mm at lugs but risky with the quick strain change system ...

so I emailed IWC
they said the straps will fit but the 45mm doesn’t taper so I would need an 18mm buckle as well. Kind of expensive for what it is!
If the 45 has a 22/22 strap then why do you need a new 18 mm buckle?
Did you mean that you have to buy a 22 mm buckle?
