Never had a better service. But the design itself is better, too. The 1815 Sidestep has been another great wempe edition, btw. Spectacular!

But the question still has to come back to you: is it nobler in *your* mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous Wempe or to take arms against a sea of Limited Editions and, by opposing, end them?

I prefer the roman subdial and the numeral font of the Wempe edition.

Not Wempe for me. I have the SS version with blued hands. The Wempe is rare and platinum, though. ...
