Great picture, I like the understatement. By the way, how does it sounds with the case in WG? Probably strong rings/bells?

The volume is lower than on other repeaters. I'm okay with this as I tend to use the repeater in quieter settings. And I like the drawn-out strikes. Some repeaters chime so fast that I can't seem to keep track counting the strikes - user error on my part ...

They stopped making them (or at least, to my chagrin, they don't sell them under their name anymore that I can find), but I've found they're some of the most comfortable straps I've had. Just the right thickness; comfortable but also sturdy. I jealously g...

I did some shifting here and there in my collection to bring this one in - always admired IWC's gutsy move bringing their MR to market...the repeater mechanism, the clean and functionally finished pocket-watch movement, the Portugueser signature size and ... 

The third (last) generation has the small seconds at 6:00, the first two generations have the small seconds at 9:00. It has to do with the fact that the first two generations are based on the historic Caliber 982 (case size 42 mm). The current (third) gen... 

I did a quick search online I only saw those with sub dial at 6.. these minute repeaters looks amazing I bet it is a real keeper!

...I'm just slower! Who knows? Maybe a JLC MR is also in my future?
