The first series was 68pcs for each dial variant...

This one is 500pcs....wonder why the jump? Must be the demand....

I knew that it was overpriced at retail, but managed to convince myself to stretch the budget.

So paying double that is out of the question.

At last someone sensible.

I missed out as well. But life goes on!

But life goes on! I definitely wanted to support Hajime Asaoka, but unfortunately I couldn't get one of these special watches. I wished I could see the watch before buying it in person, I'm a little worried about the proportions of a 38mm case with such a...

He has released some collaborations with Habring and a couple of watches with his name on the dial. You can find the projects at Massenalabs on Instagram.

Yup! That's the one!

You got it! Massena has done a couple other collaborations with MB&F, Habring, and others. Overall, I'd say his pieces are well conceived, as far as I can tell. And once I have the watch in my hands and on my wrist, I'll be able to give a more qualitative...

Here are the details

Sellita movement...

 By: patrick_y : February 20th, 2021-21:06
It's a Sellita movement that's basically a clone of the Valjoux 7750. It's a very common movement. Easy to service, which is a big worry point when buying independent brands sometimes. The chronograph complication is driven by a cam system, not a column w...

I tried for the other recent one. Failed as well.

So i went grey. Had my kurono fix and didnt even bother with this one.

A 4K chrono with a cheap movement inside... what am I missing?

Never understood this hype. Hajime his own hand made watch is something I get. This on the other hand.... could as wel buy a voutilainen phone...

No interest whatsoever....

I feel like many buyers are just in it for the thrill of trying to get one before they sell out. Then they go on the secondary market at 2x the price. $4k is a pretty hefty sum to pay given the pedestrian movement and mass produced parts. I love his hand-...
