Ressence just announced their new, limited edition, Dive-watch! The Type 5 AIT as it is called, is an extension of their successful TYPE 5 Dive-watch, defined by its bold, organic, and lightweight titanium case, oil-filled dial, clear legibility, and robu...

As a diver?

Have to say I couldn’t read that dial very well under water.

Isn't it the opposite?

Oil filled dials are supposed to be extra easy to read under water.

I dive and I find the layout of this dial confusing.

A better version of this tech is the Bell & Ross Hydromax.

Well opinions were asked for on this thread…

If you are a dive master like my wife then perhaps the two of you should have a conversation about this?

Absolutely! This is so true.

The watch reads so easily, but you have to give it a moment to get used to it. It is actually a Regulator. GEO

Very cool watch

I hope each of the 11 pieces is unique by having a different hour marker in yellow and the 12th, charity one has the logo at 12 hour in yellow

Very cool!

Kind of reminds me of my Ikepod from 20 years ago… Love what Ressence is doing.

Not many people might have figured this out but ...

Each Piece as an hour index in yellow colour respecting the limited edition number (Hour index 11 in Yellow=limited edition 11/12)

Love the look. However…

Seems to me the whole point of a dive watch is to know how much oxygen you have left in sometime mentally impaired conditions. It must be a simple read. This is probably the worst use case I could think of for this watch.

I cannot see diving..

With that watch. YMMV.
