the price certainly doesn't break the bank. Congratulations.
And that should be celebrated.
I'm becoming increasingly hostile to prices driven by branding that plays loose with facts, or mania that literally means loss of mind, or both. Somehow Habring2 pricing has remained relatively sane, even with all the attention and plaudits it receives.
Agreed, prices of so many watches have gotten
completely out of hand with no end in sight on some. A brand that starts with "R" and ends with "X" is one that comes to mind, for me anyway.
I've listened to Mike French of Christopher Ward speak about this.
He says that if consumers knew that our favourite watch brands typically pitch MSRP at 10x over unit cost of production, there would be mass uprising. Certain brands are priced up to 30% above their immediate peers simply because they work so hard to cult...

I know I am guaranteed really special quality and distinction at good prices. What more could one want?
Your assessment is spot on. "Not more, not less." There's an economy about the watch that has its own appeal.
As though it says, "this watch isn't going to do much, but what it does it'll do darned well." I don't have a more elegant way of putting it so I hope you can see what I mean. Best regards.
