Some advantages of traveling are that I usually get extended time with a single watch AND I often have a real camera on hand.
I will say this recent trip allowed for quality wrist time with the Laine, and really confirmed my dial choice. There are many options with Laine in terms of dial but my instinct was simple might be best for me. This specific dial is exactly that BUT with the added benefit of a little bit of texture to keep things interesting when looking closely. Not to mention the joy there is when you turn it around and see the movement side.
When traveling one needs a watch that suits all occasions and so this simple dial allows for that.
