The print of the strap is quite busy, and I think it works well with the serene dial. But i am sure many prefer the tan strap. GEO ...

It is a fetching combination.

I like it better than the tan strap actually. It has a cool (pun intended) look. What a nice texture to the strap that perfectly suits the watch.

Wauw - Im convinced

what type of leather is this? As you say, it works great with the serene dial!

Could it be elephant? [nt]

Really makes the watch pop!

A change of strap is always good ...

(Laurent Ferrier Vintage America 1 for Swiss Fine Timing) ...

That case of your 'Square' is so well designed

Not really square, not really round; very nice! I really liked the fit of that watch a lot. George

Hey chap, a great sector dial on your Square!

Can you share a pic of the dial? I really love it! Best, Daniel

Sorry - just seeing this

via www.hodinkee.com (though mine has the hours around the minute track, I think I'd prefer it to have the minutes as shown here...) ...

Achingly beautiful!

Thanks chap. One of the best Galets I‘ve ever seen! That sector dial is simply delicious. My Boreal says hi. Cheers, Daniel ...

Not taking anything away from mine - I love it, and hunted it relentlessly before I persuaded a gent to sell me mine. but I actually think yours is *the* signature LF.... Let me explain. I’m a massive LF fan, think their movements, ethos as basically a mo...

I agree 100% with you

I fully share your view of both the fantastic strengths of LF and their weakness, from a branding perspective, of doing too many things in too many niches (ie Bridge One, dial variety etc.). You actually laid out a sound marketing strategy for LF and I ag...

Love this one. [nt]

Great combo!

I love mixing a highly-textured strap with a plain dial watch, or a plain strap on a watch with a busy dial.

Thanks Nico! [nt]

.

Absolutely superb watch, and this new strap works very well with it imo

At the beginning I was prefering the Galet Classic case a lot but this new Montre Ecole case grows in me more and more. This multi tone brushed dial is simply awesome, what a superb superb combo. I also have an elephant skin strap (in black) and I like it...

The choice between the Galet Classic and the Montre Ecole case

is indeed not easy and took me quite a bit. Especially the back of the cases is so well done.
