They are my favorite brand and I just picked up my third piece a couple days ago
For me, De Bethune represents the perfect harmony of engineering, art, design and traditional watch-making. This can’t be achieved by accident, I see it as ingrained in the DNA and ethos of the brand. As a comparison, if you super-size the art dimension, you get MB&F. If you super-size the engineering dimension, you get URWERK. It’s no surprise they are my second and third favorite brands.
Enjoy the research and when the time is right I’m sure you will fully enjoy adding one to the collection. I’m personally very partial to the DB28 collection - once you experience those floating lugs it’s hard to go back to static lugs 😀

Depending on the lighting, it goes through the entire spectrum of deep purples and blues. Just when you think you have a handle on the color, it changes again!
