Sellita movement...

It's a Sellita movement that's basically a clone of the Valjoux 7750. It's a very common movement. Easy to service, which is a big worry point when buying independent brands sometimes. The chronograph complication is driven by a cam system, not a column wheel.

This one is 500pcs....wonder why the jump? Must be the demand....

I knew that it was overpriced at retail, but managed to convince myself to stretch the budget.

But life goes on! I definitely wanted to support Hajime Asaoka, but unfortunately I couldn't get one of these special watches. I wished I could see the watch before buying it in person, I'm a little worried about the proportions of a 38mm case with such a...

He has released some collaborations with Habring and a couple of watches with his name on the dial. You can find the projects at Massenalabs on Instagram.

You got it! Massena has done a couple other collaborations with MB&F, Habring, and others. Overall, I'd say his pieces are well conceived, as far as I can tell. And once I have the watch in my hands and on my wrist, I'll be able to give a more qualitative...

I'm looking forward to getting the Massena! And I'm hoping that I'll be able to get the Kurono Chronograph. I'm on the waitlist for the Kurono Chronograph. Crossing my fingers!

Never understood this hype. Hajime his own hand made watch is something I get. This on the other hand.... could as wel buy a voutilainen phone...
