unless you don't want to see what is in front of you ;-0)
In this case the 2 bits of metal sticking out are there at roughly 9 and 3 o'clock around the winding barrel jewel chaton.
If you don't want to talk about it, or feel offended because it is your current favourite watch, then please let's ignore this conversation as I am not here to only 'ooh' and 'aahhh' how wonderful everything is.
One can, with respect, point out issues and/or ask questions. ..That is what active collecting is all about. (I thought).
In any case I would prefer you not pretend that I am inventing what is right front of my eyes and clearly not a reflection or photo issue.
I am inquiring if this is a question of workmanship or a type of strange 'clip' to hold a chaton in place that I have never seen before.
It looks strange, as do some of the other chatons. Take a good look on other makers on the Internet for examples.
Valid, pertinent questions from a watch collector/lover just like yourself.
The questions will not go away just because you claim not to see what is evident.

Look on the left and right...
