New Ming 17.06 announced today

Sep 02, 2019,02:00 AM

MING 17.06, a time-only automatic watch in 38mm steel with an acid-etched guilloche dial in salmon hue. It is already preselected for the ‘Challenge’ category of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève of 2019.

Although the watch is affordably priced (including a Jean Rousseau Paris leather strap), the Ming team have employed the services of Schwarz Etienne Manufacture to assemble now also this new entry level watch.

What a beauty! Congratulations to another stunning design.

The watch is NOT sold out and will be open for orders on Thursday 19 September. Unfortunately, their site has a feature whereby items not in stock are shown as 'sold out' so there is hope yet!

Yes it will be hard to get one

as they will only be producing 300 of the copper dial watches a year due to 'production limitations'.

Yessssss i also got that massage 🤗

. Will have my finger on the button on the 19th 😉. Both stunning watches but i would go for the Copper/Salmon one

I have never bought a MIng

A real beauty

As with all previous models, sold out very quickly. That salmon dial is very nicely done, though it probably doesn't matter if it hacked or not with only two hands, I do appreciate that it's included.

Not sold out Richard!

Only open for orders on Thursday 19 September

They certainly should give their website developers a kick in the arse then!

A very customer-discouraging feature, saying sold out before being introduced!!

So true

 By: rnaden : September 2nd, 2019-15:57
Very discouraging. Bad enough that it's hard to buy before it closes out, but to be told it's gone before it is sold is a very different matter.

He! He!

They have since rectified the problem which arguably should not have occurred in the first place but the 'sold out' gaffe has inadvertently made people want the watch even more!!

Got that same message from Ming too

I know I signed up for updates and was a little annoyed that it showed Sold Out when I have yet to receive information about it going on sale. Quite a bit of work needed on their website and marketing to sort these things out. Small things like these can ...

Or it can make people want the watch even more!

Clever reverse psychology if that was at all intended

it's now or later
