Moser vs Bucherer Tourbillon: which is nicer?

Apr 16, 2023,14:03 PM

Hello! I am not tourbillon expert so I am trying to figured out the difference between the Moser Flying Tourbillon

And the Carl F. Bucherer Manero "double peripheral" floating tourbillon.

Do you know the difference and/or between these two watches which you like the most? Why ?
Thanks!
Christian

If you're asking, seems like neither are nice enough for you to pounce on either of them! I'd wait until one sings to you more. That being said, if you're looking for a Tourbillon, the one I'd consider is the Vacheron Constantin 6000T - add that to your d...

I already own the Moser πŸ˜… was gathering some opinions on

the Bucherer and if the tourbillon/watch is nicer ! Thanks for the link! the Vacheron is fantastic, just at a much different pricepoint !

The Moser is far nicer IMO!

I am unsure on the tourbillon position of the bucherer

Design and color, both.

The whimsical dial design coupled with the technical tourbillon is really cool. I also like the tourbillon placement better on the Moser.

Thanks, oh well now I have both πŸ˜…

Now, allow me to be the devil on the shoulder... Gotta try on that Vacheron Constantin 6000T. It's like perfection. Even the winding rotor never blocks the Tourbillon. Try it on! Take a look.

haha I like the devil 😈 and your review

I really enjoyed reading your review, and the fantastic photos made it even better! The Vacheron is an impressive watch, and it's interesting to learn that it uses a peripheral system like the Carl F. Bucherer. However, for my personal taste, I'm going to...

No problem! Yes, the VC is definitely not as cool nor as modern as your Bucherer!

Glad to read that you vote with your wallet and you go where your heart tells you! Because yes, that Vacheron Constantin is probably the "layman's choice" in many ways - famous brand, Tourbillon, kind of obvious choice. You've definitely chosen the road l...

thanks, but I already have the moser πŸ˜…

somehow feels very contemporary. The movement with double peripheral technology is fantastic and the forged carbon case also very cool. Couldn't resist it!

ah yes, also I think the tourbillon is easier to service

 By: christianch : April 16th, 2023-16:25
due to a more modular construction.. but I like the carbon case of the other one too!

ah just found out the Carl F. Bucherer has COSC and...stop seconds
