Moritz Grossmann Atum Enamel.

A promise is a promise. I told you that I will end my series of postings about Moritz Grossmann watches with my favorite.
Well, I could only shoot one version, the Atum rose gold edition, while I am more attracted by the white gold version, but both are made in limited editions of 25 watches, so I guess it will be pretty hard to find.
Here are both featured in the same picture:
As you can see, same dial, different case color.
So, here are the pictures I could take of the rose gold version.
The case is 41 mm big, 11, 35 mm high, which is not only good in the paper, but very good in terms of proportions in the reality.
These hands are sublime, too. And what to say about this dial? The white enamel is bewitching, in terms of depth and warmth. The Blue XII is the cherry on the cake. I would have preferred arabic numbers, instead of roman numbers, yes, but not a deal breaker, for me.
As for the movement, a picture is worth a thousand words. German silver, Geneva Stripes, hand engraved balance cock... Clean, sober, finished with care, in one word: German.
While browsing on the net, I saw another version, which I think was reserved to the Japanese market:
But I prefer the version I posted.
And, as an extra bonus... A Benu Enamel, 41 mm case, in steel... With arabic numbers, in a limited production of 18 pieces per year.
My thoughts? An enamel dial sublimates a watch. The Benu and the Atum are no exceptions to that!
Best,
Nicolas
