Maison Celadon Celestial Silk

It took a year and a half to get this watch after I ordered it, and I’ve now had it for a year and a half. Today is it’s unveiling.
I didn’t care for the original strap but it took me forever to finally replace it.
This is the rare orange-pink dragon skin. The female dragon sheds skin (scales) from her underbelly every 12 years corresponding to the Year of the Dragon. This particular strap was made with scales from 2012, the last year dragons shed. They will shed scales in 2024.
The dial is Su silk embroidery and depicts a Bird of Paradise.
The movement comes from the Beijing Watch Company and enjoys a high degree of finishing-especially given the price of this piece. I I’ll post more pictures in the future.
These silk-dialed watches were a limited run of 15 in total:5 each of 3 different subjects. I believe they are long sold out.
As for the dragon strap there are very limited supplies left, I’ve been told. Generally they are made available only to magical creatures and magic makers:elves, leprechauns, centaurs, and, of course, Druids.

I never knew this type of dial exited. Love it, enjoy in the best of health. BTW-looks great with either strap IMHO
It is a very beautiful dial...

I wonder how silk dials age through the years. Maybe they lose color slightly over the years and perhaps that's why they're not a common medium for dials? In any case, it's a beautiful timepiece and a very interesting art!
Thanks, Patrick.

I see no discernible difference since I got early in 2019. But I think you are probably right and would not be surprised to see the dial darken as time goes on.
What gives?!

I'd have rather had the point Monday.
