It's a lovely thing all round. And I mean "all round" literally because its form is best described as that of a bracelet with a watch embedded into it.

That makes it equal parts feminine and - given its presence - masculine (both meant in a traditional sense of course).

While the diameter of the case is 42mm, it's designed with a single unbroken line from 'case' to 'bracelet.' Visually there is no separation between the diameter of the case and the girth of the band that flows from it at both ends. It's one, seamless transition and one reason I describe it as 'liquid.' This means there is no conspicuous bulge to a circular case which is typically what would make one of 42mm appear largish. Here? Not at all.

The second reason why I think 'liquid' is the design of the links. I'm not sure how to best characterise the complicated combination of brushed and polished overlapping elements, or the dramatic taper, but the effect is that the bracelet conforms to the wrist and wraps around it both delicately and firmly. Suffice to say it's a well designed piece of work by itself.

I wear watches from 35mm to 42.5mm in diameter. This looks - and more importantly to me - feels good on my flattish 175mm wrist.

As for in-person sightings, my understanding is that PF is sending pieces to its authorised sales points based on firm orders. That's what I was told when I went to collect the one pictured above. Now I might have misunderstood and the situation may have changed since then, so please take this with a pinch of salt.

PF went out on a stretch with this design. It's not like their normal work and while it has a whiff of the mainstream about it, there are enough knowing references to its lineage to distinguish it. By that I mean the coin edge bezel of the Toric, the hands and sub-dials etc. from the Chronor, and so on. It's one of those cases were if you know, you know.

A sumptuous thing that can be had at a fair fraction of the price of some of its brethren. ...

It's a fine piece, saw this one recently was very tempted by its strikingly beautiful blue dial!

Looks good.i like the hands and index hollow kind of no lume on the watch ?

I have yet to see one in person, but yours and other live pictures I’ve seen show an appealing package for sure.

The Tondagraph too looks appealing to me, again in photos only so far. How do you think this watch wears, true to size at 42mm. Larger, smaller?

I'm fascinated by PF's positioning of the GT range.

On the one hand, they've responded to market demand for watches of this kind. On the other they've vowed to only produce them in modest numbers. Urban Jürgensen and Czapek have done likewise, with even smaller numbers. My assumption is that these watches ...

I think they have learned from their past mistakes.

They make amazing watches , but are an unknown brand. Some of their older designs have been dumped on the market leading to poor value retention. By limiting the run to orders they avoid that. No excess stock on the shelves to dump.

Not familiar with this brand
