Interesting observations.
FPJ, in my opinion doesn't need to promote through anyone other than his own channel and Speake-Marin, now without the eponymous founder, probably needs to do as much promotion as possible to convince potential clients that they still have legitimacy without Peter.
I posted quite a few images on Instagram and corroborated all my posts with Richard Stenning of Frodsham to ensure that I was not disseminating incorrect info or info that was not supposed to be made public. It makes sense to me seeing how frequently one reads error filled articles. After such a considerable amount of time and with the experience that the directors of the company have I'm certainly not surprised that they have developed an idea of how they want to promote their product.
With regards the Rexhepi brothers and Akrivia (I'm very much an admirer), their watches don't quite fit into the same category, as you point out, since Frodsham focused so intently on the technical functions of the movement, which required a decade and a half of development. Akrivia will no doubt reach even greater heights in the future and it is widely recognised that the movement finishing is of the highest level.
I will post some details and pictures of the Frodsham watches in the coming days expanding on the various elements of design and materials that make the watch stand out.
