For sake of a purely academic speculation, assume for a second that Patek did NOT exist (!) or that it suddenly sold to a group (both of which I consider *equally* likely, which means with probability zero! ;-)) For me, purchasing horology at the very top... 

It’s gotten me thinking; if I had access to a major manufacture such as Patek or Vacheron or even Rolex, would i become a mono-brand guy? I don’t think so, but then again that is as hypothetical as Patek going under or getting bought. Variety is the spice...

88 pieces is a lot for a GF "limited" edition. but yeah, mirror finished rehaute as they do in some of the other models. So 🔥🔥🔥

That said, cranking up production at GF sounds good to me. If it means more access and maybe even the potential for a discount off msrp I'm all for it as long as quality doesn't suffer.

Increasing production and reducing distribution sound like a tough combination. It will be interesting to see how that works out for them.

I know GF watches are expensive and value is relative at this end of the spectrum but that's crazy. When they do things like that it casts a shadow on the entire pricing model. At that point just charge 250k and include both bracelet and strap, but the up...
