I have now experienced the “calling” of the independent sector of the industry!
On the advice of patrick_y I paid a visit to L’Atelier in ION Orchard, Singapore, where I had my first up close experience with a Voutilainen. I can honestly say that I now have “non-buyers” remorse. The only hesitation I had was that this was a Rose gold piece and I generally prefer platinum or white gold. Having said that I just can’t get over the beauty of this particular model. I’m planning on taking a look at a Voutilainen GMT in the next couple of weeks to see if that captures my imagination in the same way as this.

I will defer to others on this, and there are definitely enough local owners to guide you, but if you do go the KV route surely you must go custom.

A KV is a Big step into the independents . They are just gorgeous and once you have met the Master himself and seen his workshop you know you def want one 🤗. Hope to add one myself one day
Within 15 minutes of seeing a Voutilainen and meeting Kari I was hooked.
I knew someday I would own one of his amazing creations.
