I can see this perspective. And in an ideal world I think I would have gone smaller and sans lume also.

The Emil is a fantastic watch, at 3x the price (or maybe a little less comparing retail prices). It’s not without fault in my eyes however, the dial has too much going on. The 12 is too dominant, it’s always looked wrong to me. I could go on. But in this case too, even with those “issues” it was a watch I once wished to own.
