I ordered a Hajime Tsunami since 2017

Paid a deposit with the AD of Hajime in Singapore after the launch event which Hajime himself attended.
Since then I have been in regular touch with my AD on delivery. It is definitely taking a long time but to be fair, my AD has been regularly checking in for me and giving me updates from Hajime. I must say my expectations on timing are well managed and from other Hajime collectors’ experience , it does take 3 years or so to take delivery. My AD is ok to give a refund to me as there are many customers in Singapore who want the Hajime Tsunami but I am keeping my deposit
apparently, the AD is also unwilling to take any more orders and deposits since last year due to slow production. The Tsunami and new Tsunami Deluxe seems to be in demand but alas production is very slow.
One thing I have experienced and understood is Hajime has a Japanese “communications /PR agent” who is fluent in English to communicate for him due to his language barrier. My AD communicates with Hajime thru this agent. The agent also connected with me on FB and have been communicating with me directly and very professionally to manage my expectations, with lots of sincere apologies typical of Japanese service standards. I must say I am pleased with their professionalism overall despite the waiting time.
The agent and Haijime had also sent festive gifts thru my AD thru my waiting time - sweet gestures and a signal that my order is valued by time.
In no way have I experienced any fear my watch won’t be delivered or that they are not communicative. The only downside I have experienced is the long waiting time but as mentioned my expectations have been well and professionally managed.
