H. Moser & Cie Pioneer Centre Seconds Rotating Bezel
Aug 12, 2022,11:20 AM
I’m stoked to finally add the H. Moser & Cie Pioneer Centre Seconds Rotating Bezel LE of 100 pieces done in collaboration with Govberg Jewelers:
I had the opportunity back in 2019 to see the predecessor, which was a 42.8mm stainless steel in a LE of 50 pieces:
This was an absolute beast that I only wished was smaller:
Well, fast-forward to 2022 and what do you know, wishes can come true! This latest edition is a more reasonable 40mm case in titanium:
The case thickness is 11.5mm and the sides of the case exhibit fine vertical fluting on its flanks:
Which is echoed along the sides of the clasp:
Once again, we are looking at a 40mm case with a 20mm lug width and 47.7mm lug-to-lug length:
There is a micro-adjustment feature on the clasp by pushing on the logo:
The lume is quite strong. Unfortunately, I’m not the best at capturing lume shots:
If we take a view of the engine room, she’s powered by the in-house HMC 200 calibre, which is a relatively slim automatic movement with a three-day power reserve and hacking feature:
Finally, she’s distinguished by Moser’s signature funky blue fumé dial, which is absolutely stunning in a variety of lighting conditions:
I should add there still has been no official announcement on this piece. I was fortunate to have obtained “intel” from a Boston watch chat I belong to:
Thanks for looking! HAGWE!
Best,
Mark
