For the first time, I am actually lost for words apart from the fact that I’m totally in awe of the timepiece. It has so many fine qualities that makes it a keeper. A lot has been spoken about it, but nonetheless here are the key reasons why I love it: 1....

Less is more. I am however a little more tolerant in this case with the “8 second Remontoire” text. Because it is not immediately obvious that the watch is a 8 second Remontoire, hence the text does serve to educate the user. But I do agree with you. With...

I was very very close on one of these (non Kari dial) almost three years ago now. I’m sorry I didn’t pull the trigger. In part I hesitated as I expected these to be somewhat available in the future, even allowing for the small numbers. Of course they are ... 

What a bummer, I wish you pulled the trigger. They do surface out from time to time and I am quite sure asking prices wouldn’t deviate too far from retail price (unless of course you’re ACM or other large grey dealers of that sort). Shoot me an email at g... 

I'm a big fan and agree in wishing for something a little bigger. I'd be a customer at 41-42mm (in case the brothers are watching 😋)

On the contrary I do hope that if they change the size, it should be a different watch altogether I think it is always better to have less options. Giving the consumer too much freedom can end up being a bad thing. I cannot pin point exactly, but qualitat...

I tried on a couple of them and lined them very much, and the movement is something else, very special! I appreciated the solid feel and the smooth winding. But for me 39mm is just perfect! Enjoy it forever... Zsolt.

I did not buy direct from the brothers but rather through an AD. Was a fairly short wait. Looking forward to seeing you get yours. What dial and case combination did you opt for ?

One of my favorite watches of all time, and I love the way that they were able to do the guilloche in a way that looks very modern.

IMO is a modern interpretation of classique Breguet, with some twist. Congartulations , and wear it in good health.

Your interpretation of it is apt.

The watch fits your wrist well and a larger 40.5mm case would have been too large. I will join the 188 club next year but I have opted for the simpler silver dial. Yours of course is very nice but I preferred an even more understated dial.

We have GaryG to blame. I thought his write up on quill and pad on the said watch is pretty accurate in terms of how I actually do feel about it. He opted for a SS case and a silver dial. I too, find this combo to be very attractive. The simpler the bette...

Their remontoire is such a marvel of engineering and craftsmanship. I’m very envious. Congrats on a terrific acquisition!

The Remontoire is fast becoming a favorite complication of mine. I love the idea of having a fuss free life. Complications are not for me. The only complication I love is the chronograph. But I like increasingly like the idea of the Remontoire.

It is indeed an awesome watch for all the reasons you mentioned. Like you I love the dial, the hands, the case (especially the lugs) and most of all, the mesmerizingly beautiful movement. I have the salmon version of yours, also in SS, and it makes me smi...
