That’s what kept me away as well. I originally saw them back in 2012 at a store in Costa Mesa California. So it essentially took me a decade to pull the trigger. Let’s hope there I serviceability for years to come.

This is a Tread 1 with steel bracelet. Some minor cosmetic differences on the face of this Tread 1 Tecna versus the original straight Tread 1 with rubber strap.
Great watch and photo. I've wanted an original series Tread since they were first introduced. But I keep deciding against purchasing for one reason...

My other concern is that I'll never buy one fearing lack of serviceability, then in 20 years, when Devon is still producing watches, I'll regret having not had one.
It remains one of my grail watches and I'm the only one standing in the way of fulfilling that dream.
My fear is not so much "serviceability", god willing I will be around 20 years from now
but... can I and will I be able to tell the time on this one??
