Excited to be working with a young English Watchmaker
Feb 13, 2021,13:22 PM
I thought I’d share a picture of a dial just received for a new watch being made for me by a talented young English watchmaker James Palmer whom I came across in 2020. He worked as a watchmaker for Roger Smith on the Isle of Man and is a great guy with a very bright future. This dial was designed by him and manufactured by Kari Voutaleinen’s Columbine workshop.
I’m excited to be supporting this guy on his watchmaking journey and will share images of his first watch as it progresses. He is also restoring a 1920’s Moser Minute Repeater so it’s going to be great seeing how that works out too

Yes it’s his first wristwatch. Case material to be determined but possible Rose Gold. We keep the forum updated for sure. Thanks for everyone’s interest.
