Eevn if you know nothing about fine watches

Dufour's watches stop you and make you very quiet... I've said this before... one becomes very quiet and just examines... even if you don't know what you are looking at, the symmetry and balance of his design makes time disappear. You are floating outside of time, inside of time, no time, nothing but time... and drifting into his work. The symmetry of the movement--those 'bat-ears' as I affectionately call them--sharp enough to prick your finger for a blood test... just... just... just... astound.
There is so much craft and design in that movement, one can be completely ignorant and Know he is looking at something Right.
The dial to me, is dreamy in that it conceals any hint of complication, so one just feels easy viewing. It barely whispers... what is contained within.
I love the inner minute track--AND the outer minute track.
These posts of yours, Gary, are not just great photography, but also help owners of Dufour to be ever reminded how lucky we are. I swear, I could weep. I've been poked fun at for how goofy and silly I get about Dufour...
Sob-sob.... anyone got a tissue?
