Congrats on this one.

I recall the first time I saw one, mid 2000’s and a Paneristi friend of mine had just bought one having met Peter at some place or other and being completely sold on Peter and the watches. I recall meeting Peter at some point in the mid 2000s too but honesty the watches weren’t to my style (liking) at the time. But like many good things with the passage of time I have more appreciation for these watches and strong design language.
Question for you, what size is your wrist? Can you post some more wrist shots at some point (zoomed out a bit so we can see how the watch wears).
Enjoy it !

My dream came true in an unexpected way

In 2012 or so, I was admiring Speake-marin pieces on this forum. The “Foundation” hands were something different, with the hour hand looking like a heart. The lugs were radically different. The case shape was inspired by a watch holder he used when workin...
Congrats!

I, too, am in the market for a 38mm PSM from back when he was running the company. I didn’t know about the pierce brosnan movie. Which one is it? I’ll have to check it out Enjoy the Piccadilly, and wear it in good health
You must watch it

The movie is called Survivor (2015). In this movie Brosnan plays the bad guy.

What’s the movie PB plays a watchmaker? The man who introduced Omega as the only tru Bond watch. 😉my opinion. A little water to the wine, Rolex is also the only tru Bond watch. Nice to read your Speake Marin journey. I like the Speake Marin watches also, ...
What a cool PSM 👍

I totally share your enthusiasm and fully relate to your story. I remember Peter in Basel some years back now showing me some unpublished pics with Pierce Brosnan, we were both quite excited. So good memories…
Amazing memories

It was an important chapter in watch history. Curiously, when this piece was posted on the market here, I believe not many people knew it’s true value. It was sold in a page where people buy and sell Rolexes and Omegas mostly. Have a great day Mike
U must watch it

Thanks Fab

It was a “too good to be true” moment which was true.
=D

Thank you. This piece will attract the right attention I believe so. Not many people know of this piece so it will escape attention from middle aged ladies at the butcher/market.
ROFL :)

Yours has the lumed hands. I think the Foundation hands are beautiful when lumed, especially the heart shaped hour hand.
I hope you find one too
By: Cookies : October 6th, 2021-21:09
Esp the lumed hand versions. They look so cool in the dark. Or those with the curley hands too. It must be pre-2017, before he left the company. Then u will get the certificate with his signature hand signed on it.
Ah here it is

17cm wrist I recall. This piece is a 38mm. I believe the 42mm piece will be too large for me. ...
Thanks. It’s helpful to see how the watch sits.
By: Jay (Eire) : October 7th, 2021-18:18
Conclusion for me; too large. I have a smaller wrist than yours so even the smaller case (due to those lugs, which are a real feature of the watch) would be too much. I will continue to admire from a distance !
I see Elmo shoes

And a nice SM on stingray leather. Have not heard from u from a while B, it’s good to hear from you.
Nice piece!

And may I ask how can I sell or trade watch in Australia? It seems like people in AU rarely us chrono24. I'm moving to AU next month.
