Berneron Mirage...a timepiece with a twist - literally ;-)

not a new launch but I happened to see it...

this model did blow my mind....few reasons for it I could think of,

  • aesthetic sense - something very classy.
  • horological sense - not just adding a movement to a shaped timepiece, but redesigning movement consistent to the dial.
  • built in value - entire movement is made of gold including spring bars...yes spring bars.

below is the Sienna...YG case with the specific fonts in 'reddish tone' matching the terrain of Sienna...

the movement is as stunning as the dial...spellbound is the right word to describe what I felt seeing it.

Caliber 233 is just 2,3 mm thin...made out of 135 components beating at 21600 VPH with a 3 days PR.

case size is 34x38 mm and just 7mm thick.

the timepiece on the wrist sits well albeit lug-to-lug is 42mm only !

One small detail, the hour hand sits-on top while the minute hand is below...this allows to keep the overall thickness lower ;-)

how you like it ?

Note : Timepiece is not mine, display watch in Berneron.
