Always consider buying via an authorized dealer

Helps with import; if there is ever any issues; shouldn't costs any more (watchmakers with AD figure that into their public pricing); can help with seeing more of the available pieces - often via clients they've sold to; helps with resale (if you ever decide to); know much more about the line than most, and much more.

Sarpaneva's west coast dealer is in CA and a gentleman to work with. He can be found on Sarpaneva's web page.

AD'S also likely helped get the independent watchmaker going as without their early support the watchmaker might not have the audience they now enjoy.

Just my two cents

the watches use Soprod A10 movement which is very reliable and work horses so i don't expect or foresee any issues with it i too swim with my 15202 and use it in the GYM too (don't shoot me) so i would recommend jumping on the Sarpaneva wagon as they are ...

how about import duties/taxes to the USA?

debating between a super1 with a guilloche dial in yellow or orange or a northern lights blue dial with the stars in a variety of lume colors. really like the lunations but at that price point there are a lot of other options.
