Dear All, My first post here, I've been reading the forum for a long time and very thankful for the treasure trove of information it has provided me. I have a tough decision to make, and would like to get some input from you all, as I am sure the answers ...

Chris, MB&F know their products best. It may be that your watch is so banged up that a complete mirror polish is easier to do than trying to bring back the satin finish. Your question made it seem like an option but what if it is a serious nudge by MB&F t... 

chris, Thinking a bit more, the mixed shiny and satin finish adjacent to each other on the updated case is better and not an easier route! As it is by MB&F, it is "original" and an upgraded design approved by the Maker. It also makes your watch unique...o... 

If you have it polished, it’ll pick up scratches, which will be more noticeable. I’d also want that rehaut mirror polished, like it appears to be in some images of the blue dial version, and the green Dubai one.

Thanks for the inputs guys! Additionally, the case isn't so banged up that it needs the polished finish, just scratches all around. The change is purely aesthetic. I have also seen versions of the polished bezel in the black dial / WG version around the n...  

Wonderful watch you have here My comments relate to whether you think you will ever sell this watch or is this a keeper for life? If it\'s a keeper - then do what you want & mix finishes if you want to (my vote is for brushed btw) If you plan to sell on f... 

Good point Bounce781, the watch is definitely a keeper, but who knows 5 or 6 years down the road. Thanks for the input!
