Starry Varius movement close up

...

Indeed.

Always somewhat a risk to use a x10 loupe and ‘investigate’ a movement.

It watches like these...

That should sell 3x over retail. A shame. So inventive and beautiful.

That’s a double edged sword I guess.

Then we really can’t afford them! I appreciate your sentiment. Thank you

Phwoar!!

I am in awe - not sure which I am more impressed with - the quality of the movement or your photography skills?!!!

That’s an easy one to answer!

Take 1000 pictures and find one that’s half decent! Not sure you can run a watch making business the same way?! Thanks for your kind comment

Watchmaking...

... Alchemy.

This starts (for me) to become art

No other watch in my collection brings so many purely aesthetic pleasures.

Stunning pics from a even better looking DB

Huge congrats for this beauty !

Thank you!

It was a jump for me (my collection is rather ‘traditional’ you could say - this takes me further into a different genre - more ‘quirk’ from Independent Watchmaker’s. (Almost Independent now in DB’s case?)

You did well 👍👏👏👏

Great to see you here, my DB25 brother!

I used to be very active here on WatchProSite. Not so much in the past two years. But still check the forum everyday. My last thread was nine month ago when I received my customized Starry Varius.

Definitely a grail for me, but could be too big for my wrist. I wonder how it looks on your wrist?

It looks like this

 By: hewitgar : October 3rd, 2019-19:40
...

How stunning..

 By: JTCL : October 4th, 2019-06:14
I wonder if the thin bezel and thin lugs might make it wear any bigger/smaller than a "normal" 42mm watch? (Or say a big watch like GS)

It’s great

 By: hewitgar : October 4th, 2019-07:35
and wears fantastically. The lugs are attached to the case lower to the wrist than many watches (but a little higher than prior DB25s) and sits extremely well. Very comfortable.

thanks for sharing!

Wonderful pictures and a great piece. Need to figure out which DB to add to my collection.
