2 Moritz Grossmann watches I discovered yesterday: Benu in white gold / Tefnut in rose gold.

I had the opportunity to see more than 2 Grossmann watches, but let's start with two of them, the Benu and the Tefnut. Botth being reasonably sized, the Benu with its 37 mm white gold case and the Tefnut, with its 39 mm case.
The Benu is very much my taste, I must say. The size is perfect, the height is not too important ( 9, 2 mm ), and the dial is timeless. A pure classic.
I would have preferred slimmer lugs, but that case doesn't lack character and elegance.
Cherry on the cake, a ver nice looking movement, with pleasant decorations and a good level of finishings. The Cal 102.1 is 26 mm big, and quite thin, 3.5 mm high. Made of german silver, this manual winding movement beats at the pace of 21, 00 alternances per hour, and offers a power reserve of 48 hours. Screwed gold chatons, hand engraved balance cock and escape wheel cock are both nicely hand engraved... the level of finishing and decoration is very... German.
The Tefnut is 2 mm bigger, but 0, 7 mm thinner ( 8, 5 mm ).
Maybe a tad more refined. But I still prefer the Benu.
The hands are sublime on both of these watches.
The Cal 102.0 is very close to the 102.1. With the same level of finishings, the same technical datas and the same dimensions.
A good alternative to Glashutte Original and Lange, which I would rate above Glashutte and below Lange.
More to come, soon.
Best,
Nicolas
