Aren't most watches anti-magnetic by now ?

Its the hair spring that would get magnetized...right ? Or are there other complications with magnetization that I'm missing? Or something else...?

Yes a silicon hairspring helps reduce the possibility. This is where METAS certification has benefits.

never been magnetized. I take some careful actions when i do not lay a watch on my magnet iPhone cover. Only my quartz equipped Longines Conquest can rest on my iPhone cover and my Omega Seamaster that resist 15000 Gauss. By the way, i fully understand a ...
