Had the pleasure of a lengthy conversation with Richard Stenning, Director at Chas. H. Frodsham today. It will eventually form part of the AHS (ahsoc.org) Oral Histories programme. I went to their beautiful offices in St James, London and was much taken with their bookshelves...as well as the conversation in which Richard told me about his early career as a student at Hackney College and his first job in Clerkenwell before joining Sotheby's. More to follow on this, but as I waiting I took a moments to check out his reading corner...
