Waiting for 1 watch
Pretty much just made the deposit. The making of the watch is estimated to take between 6 and 12 months from now. I am involved in the whole process with the watchmaker, so I enjoy the wait and the conversations a lot. It's like a weird pregnancy of a genome designed child I would guess ;-) I am turning 40 next year in April, so timing looks pretty good.
how many of you waiting watches from independent?
how long ago you place an order, and when is estimate delivery time.

If on time - #1 will take 4 months #2 will take 6 months #3 will take 13 months #4 will take 18+ months

Many have said I am patient (or daft!) to be happy to wait 10 years for a watch but you have set the new standard!!
You never own a Viskocyl you just
wait for it for the rest of your life. This watch has become a running joke for those who ordered it. He’ll never deliver :-(

Still waiting on one from pre Basel 2018.
At least a year on another one from Basel 2019. Well worth the wait.

My Lang & Heyne took exactly 6 months which was what they promised. I am still waiting for another. I do not want to chase my AD for it as doing so means they rush thru it and it could be worse...
