Some sunshine for the Urwerk

I’ve begun to wear a watch more regularly again. Not daily but at least two or three days a week. It’s been a strange several months for all of us, and my wearing habits as I mentioned before have been materially changed due to not really being out and ab...

Such amazing and very cool watch from a very great brand

A watch that’s deserves a lot of wrist time imho.

Beautiful watch. I'd wear that watch to sleep in a heartbeat!

Actually I wouldn't wear the watch to sleep since it'd potentially scratch the watch against something near the bed. But what a cool watch that just begs to be worn!

Cheers Patrick.

And I keep saying this for the benefit of those that may be on the fence, many of these Urwerk are more wearable than one thinks.

You wear yours better than I wear mine!

But I'm in total agreement. They wear well and they're not terribly difficult to wear. Not super comfortable, but they're great. And it supports an amazing company too that's very customer service oriented and Felix is a genius.

Indeed. [nt]

Incredibly comfortable to wear

And always fun! I just got this strap for my Iron version. Am seriously considering adding a bright yellow one as well just because they have it in stock at my ‘local’ downtown Chicago AD... As it is obvious you do, I really enjoy wearing this watch. And ...

I see yours on IG all the time I think, so I know you give it a lot of airtime.

I toyed with the yellow too, but in the end decided against it. There was also an orange, which I might think about again.

I think you are right. [nt]

Well, think of it this way.

You are lucky. There is no urgency around Urwerk, by that I mean there isn’t a clamoring of collectors and speculators chasing their models and so that gives you time. While their recent UR-100 seems to have been very successful in terms of sell through w...

Very badass!

I love Urwerk as a watch maker, just every time I try one on, I’m afraid I won’t find it practical enough to wear. I’m afraid it just sits too high to not be a nuisance.

All I can say is that for me this is a very frequently worn watch.

But, I’m not wearing dress shirts daily and if it was then perhaps this would not work. The height is not an issue, the watch wears very well as the lack of lugs allow for the strap to hug almost any wrist snuggly. Admittedly, I don’t think I could have p...

Glad to hear it!

Really, not knocking Urwerk at all, love what they're doing. I've tried on a 103 countless times. Just afraid of pulling the trigger and not giving it the wear it deserves. That being said. I have my cuffs buttoned for about 10 minutes every day, then I r...

For what it’s worth, and we’ve debated this here before I think, the 105 wears better for me than the 103.

 By: Jay (Eire) : August 25th, 2020-10:01
It just looks smaller on the wrist. I’d looked at the 103 since 7 or 8 years ago, many times, could never make it work. I’m not sure the measurements support this conclusion but that’s where I ended up. I also find the 110 reasonably wearable.

Beautiful! Would love to see this and some of your other pieces in person

We're overdue for another NYC PuristS gtg, health concerns permitting

Very wearable, indeed!
