I think the only gripe (if I had to list one), is that these unitas based movements are not as smooth to wind as I'd like them to be

You really feel yourself feeding the energy into the barrel when winding. But somehow that might be seen as fitting the craftman’s way that Dirk employs when he builds his watches on old mechanical machinery. Best, Martin

NOT to a purist, it isn’t!!! That ceramic dial and those sharp engine-turned numerals give it away. Beautiful piece. One of these, I’ll get one of their semi-translucent dials

Dornblueth watches have great character and offer true value for money. Wish indies like these get more visibility than some of the over hyped ones.

But that’s a double edged sword - more visibility means higher artificial prices in the current mad world
