This looks like early prototype of Journe tourbillon

and also a reminiscent of Jean Baptise-Voit's chronometre. Maybe this is the French style . Very old world charm, I like.
But as a new watchmaker, why make this tourbillon when it is not exactly very special, with no remontoir or anything new. Maybe I'm missing something here.
The overall presentation doesn't look like it is worth over $100k, at least not now based on his current new reputation. He is not Jean Baptise-Voit, not Vianney or Rehexpi...
I find the asking price a bit steep and he may lose steam fast.
We must first understand that for Mr Journe's and Vianney's old watches to reach its current sky rocket pricing, he had proven many what they are made of and that creates a huge respect and desire.
But for a new comer to create a watch that I don't think is particularly original and at this price point, I think it will be a very difficult path.
Just my opinion as I will not spend my money on this watch but obviously others may. Time will tell. One thing for sure, now I desire Jean Baptise-Voit's work
