Beautiful dial by Voutilainen
I have to admit that I'm not always a fan of Voutilainen's work. At times, it feels repetitive and uninspired to me. Not so with this dial, which is a collaboration between Kari and his 20-something year old daughter, Venla. The dial design first appeared...
The Pocket Watch was a knockout for me, loved it. I’m not sure here, the colours yes but the central “square” is maybe too jarring for me.
Soften the edges a bit, maybe. I also like the depth of the numerals and markers.
I really like his work and his watches .
This one is very artistic , not something i would order tbh but i can appreciate it . Hope to be able to add a KV at some point in the future 🙏🏻
i think this dial scheme was cohesive & worked well on pocked watch as it was square case
with the classic case...i think it is not my cup of tea ! for that case, i prefer the enamel or guilloche dials of Kari ;-) cdt, mahesh.,
