The new Parmigiani Tonda PF in steel and Rose gold
There's been quite a bit of coverage on these two babies recently especially by Wei Koh. I think he bought one in SS for himself as well so he had to help push the price up! Lol. In all seriousness, I love this pair of watches for its craftsmanship and hidden charms.
I scored them when it first came out a couple months ago. Had a small discount on them and now there's a waitlist of four plus mths with no discount=p.
I think the brand got it right with this release as it is super well made and discrete compared to the previous models, which I felt were a little thick and bulky when put on the wrist. This could be compared to an AP jumbo RO. The finishing on the bracelet is very thoughtful and well intentioned, as the brushed parts of the bracelet tapers in towards the clasp to make the profile sleeker.
I believe this could be a classic rolex explorer type of everyday "tool" watch for those seeking an upgrade=p.
The hour markers are in gold if I'm not mistaken, fyi.
