why I liked and enjoyed looking at watches in the 1st place. This post (and your replies in the comments section) in current times is a wonderful read for me, the story, the man, but moreover, I can sense your emotion of enjoyment and fun – which is great!
Huge and sincere congratulations with these acquisitions and the others to come – the Antiqua, the 1st time I saw it – I knew that was my grail and no other watch would surpass it. I didn’t have the means then and I don’t have it now, but I am always overjoyed when a fellow enthusiast is able to acquire such a masterpiece from the genius and talented man himself.
I never realised how fortunate I was meeting Vianney in person – he is such a wonderful and warm person and I really like his thinking and what he does differently in the watch world – below a quote from Vianney in a watch magazine back in 2019 or so.
“I do not have a particular vision on the industry, because it evolves in a world that is not mine”
And that is so true!
I am looking forward to seeing your pictures of the Deep Space Resonance and La Resonance (with the window on the side).
For now, thank you for sharing this and ending as how Vianney signs off …
LLAP!
