The watch movement is largely machine finished, albeit nicely. The architecture of the movement is the showstopper, not the finishing

Apologies for not being clear, but it’s the presence of the interior angles that told me that this wasn’t a regular Unitas movement that got refinished. The fact that they aren’t sharp doesn’t detract from its beauty, as you’d mentioned.
