Saw a few Asaoka pieces in the flesh.

Not only is the execution fantastic but from a watchmaking point of view, IMHO, he is truly bringing something to the table as a watchmaker/artist. Namely, his watches are an embodiment of his vision of what a watch should be down to the last part. If you like his creations visually then I believe you are getting something special.

Hi all, Just wanted to see if any one you have had experience dealing with or purchasing a Japanese watch from Asaoka? He is one of the few AHCI members from Japan. Specifically: - what do you think of his basic time only model? I really like this Art Dec...

Its an an outstanding piece which I saw in the flesh in London during the Watchmakers Masters Of Horology exhibition - I made inquiries which when eventually answered indicated up to 2

years for delivery. I would also suggested that you review some of the comments on the forum from KIH which have been very positive around the watches but so much not around the Watchmaker - With 'independents' you need to be buying into the watchmaker as...

I would love to own a Tsunami but if you cant contact the watchmaker or he dosnt reply on your mails its hard to continue with the proces imo . I think i will pass this watch
