Regulator Sunday ;-)

Best day of the week to wear a Regulator. It doesn't matter, if it takes a lot of time to read the time on a sunday. It's actually really nice that it does.

With an even more decelerated one - with only an hour and seconds hand 😁 ...

Not so far...

Might consider it at some point, though 😊

That’s the definition of legibility.

I love the brand. What’s the movement? What’s the case thickness?

Not sure if that’s meant for me or nafetS?

If the former, the movement is a reworked Poljot 3105 from the 1980s - a military watch caliber. As for thickness I haven’t measured it but it’s not particularly thin, still very well balanced and as the short lugs make it lie completely flat on the wrist...

Movement picture attached. Case thickness is 12.5. It's not a slim watch, but proportions are good (e.g. diameter to thickness ratio).

I like to wear it with sweatshirts or something similar. The picture shows, why it's got 1mm more thickness compared to the 99.0/99.1 ...

😍😍😍😍.

Is that the in-house Q-2010 Klassik movement? Regardless, gorgeous. Are you able to share any info about chronometry/accuracy?

No, this is the 42mm "original" Regulator version, so it's not the Q2010-movement.

The movement is based loosely on a pocket watch movement Dornblüth bought (don't remember which one), but it is heavily modified (e.g. Regulator complication, Finishing, ...). As Dornblüth has increased the percentage of in-house work over time and this i...

Really happy to have a regulator in my collection ...

That Dornblüth is marvelous - front or rear! Knowing the personal touch that goes into every Dornblüth watch can only make them that much more special!

One day, maybe...and I think I, too, would go for the regulator. Enjoy! (My only regulator is a very, very different beast): ...

Also a very special watch, as every regulator is basically.

If you're looking for a Dornblüth just keep in mind that they're producing to order. If you order one directly from Kalbe, you will usually get your watch 6-12 months later. In return, you can really order YOUR watch.

Dornblüth Regulator is so cool
